The Royal Government of Bhutan, with support from the Government of India (GoI), is implementing the project titled “Accelerating e-Mobility Uptake in Bhutan.” Under this project, the Department of Surface Transport (DoST) under the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MoIT), will undertake the development of an Electric Vehicle (EV) Strategy for Bhutan. The objective of this EV Strategy is to develop a comprehensive and strategic framework that provides a clear and phased pathway for the adoption and promotion of electric mobility in Bhutan. The strategy will be aligned with the country’s national development goals, carbon neutrality commitments, and sustainable transport objectives, while ensuring economic viability and social inclusiveness.
Therefore, eligible and interested Consulting Firms are invited to submit Expression of Interest (EoI) as per the Terms and Reference (ToR) uploaded in the website of Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport at www.moit.gov.bt. The Expression of Interest needs to be submitted latest by 1700 hours (Bhutan Time) on October 30, 2025, to the Transport Planning and Development Division, Department of Surface Transport housed at MoIT premises.
