Under the restructuring of the Ministry of Infrastrastructure and Transport, a part of RSTA has now been integrated into the Department of Surface Transport (DoST) today where it will operate as the new Transport Planning and Development Division. A few staff initially working under the Transport Management Division of RSTA have reported to DoST. A brief ceremony commemorating the beginning of the new Division was held within DoST. The Transportation Planning and Development Division is effective starting today and will become fully functional from July 2023.
