The 6th Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) meeting for the project “Capacity Development on Countermeasures of Slope Disaster on Roads in Bhutan” was held on 31st October 2022 in the MoWHS conference hall. The meeting was attended by officials from JICA Bhutan Office led by Chief Representative, JICA Expert Team and officials from the DoR led by Director General, MoWHS. The meeting also had representation from JICA HQ and DoR officials from Lobesa and Trongsa Regional Office who attended the meeting virtually. A series of presentation was made by JICA Expert Team and the DoR working group members with regard to the progress and work schedule for individual outputs (Output 1-6) under the project. The meeting finally concluded with JICA handing over of 2 number of drones (DJI Phantom 4 RTK), flight simulator, Desktop PC and the 3D Analysis software to the Department which will be used for surveying slope disaster on roads in Bhutan.
